Switch

A switch is used to quickly change between two mutually exclusive states. Much like a light switch, they are designed to provide immediate results — giving users the freedom to control their preferences as needed. The design of a switch provides visual cues that the interaction will be instant (because it looks like a traditional analog switch) and therefore their presence on the UI is easily understood by many users.
